When you create a Bitcoin Global Account, you provide us with personal information that includes your contact information that is required for authentication (email address, name, and a password). You can also choose to add a phone number for SMS or Google Authenticator account to be used for 2FA verification for better security protection.

Retention period of personal data

The retention period during which we keep your information depends on the type of the information and is defined below.
